HOW WAS TURKEY SUCCESS IN EUROBASKET

Hello my dear readers, in this writing I will talk about how Turkey became successfull in Eurobasket. There are many reasons but the most important of them was the atmosphere there. I will talk about this atmosphere now.
First of all, this tournament was played in Germany and this turned out a great advantage for us. Because there was a lot of  migration from Turkey to Germany and then the Turkish population increased over the years in Germany. That’s why we played with 6 people on the field in the tournament (with fans) and had a fan advantage over other teams. Of course, although the fans make difference to the match, but the players make the match and our players started the tournament in a good form.
For example Alperen Şengün had just finished his season in the NBA as an all star and started working without any vacation. Not only Alperen Şengün, but also players like Cedi Osman and Adem Bona entered the tournament in top form. Now that we have commended the players, lets discuss the teams we faced in EuroBasket. We played our first match against Latvia. We had to win this match because it was the first match of the tournament. And as a result, we won the first match and gained our confidence.
We comfortably defeated the Czhech Republic, Portugal and Estonia in the next three matches and we secured our place in the next round. We played our final match against Serbia to take the top position in the group and managed to win the match 95-90 in though battle. We finished top of our group in the last 16, which means we were drawn against Sweden. We started match badly, but managed to beat Sweden in the second half of the match. We were now in the quarter-finals and the opponents was Poland. It was expected that we would easily get through and that coach Ergin Ataman would achieve his goal.
The match result was as expected. The semifinal looked like it would be the hardest match against Greece, but from the first quarter, result is a different kind of defeat. Turkey was now in the final against Germany. They kept fighting until the last minute; however, Germany won the championship with points scored in the final moments.
